And it came to pass that there was once a shy little girl who loved the Lord, loved His word, loved going to Church and spending time in prayer. Tenderly, God raised her up to boldly minister to others by becoming a choir member, a soloist, a worship leader, part of the youth executive, a Sunday School teacher, the Sunday School superintendent and a Church Board member, and then…
She faced 2 choices. Choice number 1 was integrity, truth and the leading of God which would result in being ostracized, criticized, misunderstood and misrepresented. Choice number 2 was position, accolades, towing the line, which will result in acceptance, superficial friendships and disrupt her relationship with God. Her decision was easy but brutally painful. She chose rather to obey God, than seek the favour of man. So she walked away from it all in search of peace.
What she learnt, as she watched wide-eyed as her world as she knew it, was shaken to the core and turned upside down, was that the only peace that is sure was the peace that Christ willingly gives to those who put their hope fully in Him. She questioned her reality and was given a simple rebuke which implied, “If you were doing all that you did for God, then you should be willing to give it up for God.”
So how did I get here, to this website? God kept me and slowly He started revealing the new direction and plans He had for my life. He reminded me of the elation I felt years before, when the truth of Galatians 3:8-14 took residence in my heart. I was now to search for the basis of that truth and what it means for a child of God and I had to do it while not feeling the least bit blessed. On top of that I am compelled to share it with others who need to hear this truth. So, I will.
May God richly bless all who visits this website.
Love the LORD, all His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart all you who hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:23-24
